Channel Country and Lake Eyre Day Trip

This extended day trip departs Broken Hill and heads north to Tibooburra for fuel and a leg stretch. We then fly to Innamincka and the Dig Tree, a historic site from Burke and Wills’ 1860 expedition. 

Following Cooper Creek, we take in the vast beauty of the Channel Country and fly over the Strzelecki and Tirari Deserts. We then reach Lake Eyre, skimming its eastern edge and passing by the Marree Man. 

After a fuel stop in Marree, we return to Broken Hill via Lake Frome. 
This trip lasts approximately 6.5 hours, with a few stops for meals and breaks.

Booking Notes

Lunch is included in all flights, please bring a bottle of water and any cameras etc. 

If multiple groups are booking separately for the same flight, and want to fly as a group, please let us know who you are booking with in the notes.
