Arkaroola Resort Overnight Trip

Depart Broken Hill in the early afternoon and track south-west across the vast outback landscape. Enjoy sweeping aerial views of the striking white salt flats of Lake Frome, an incredible natural feature that highlights the scale and isolation of the region.

On arrival (around 2pm), guests will have time to check in to their accommodation and explore the sanctuary at their own pace. The remainder of the afternoon and evening is yours to enjoy Arkaroola’s unique environment and optional experiences. Guests will have the opportunity at this time to book for activities offered by the Sanctuary (listed below).

On Day 2, depart at around 9.30am  for a scenic return flight showcasing some of the most dramatic landscapes in South Australia. Fly over the rugged peaks and valleys of the Flinders Ranges before circling the iconic Wilpena Pound, a natural amphitheater best appreciated from the air.

Continue north-east across the outback, returning to Broken Hill with unforgettable aerial memories of Australia’s oldest mountain ranges and remote desert country.
